My granddad Joseph Wilson who served on HMS Tetcott 1944 - 1945 sadly passed away at home on Monday the 5th of October 2009; I came to the reunion with my wife and 2 young girls and was very proud of granddad; I would like to thank everyone for organising the day as it gave us some of the many happy memories of him; We also now have a website and a book to remember some of his stories; Thanks David Wilson;

i am the granddaughter of arthur leonard adams sometimes known as "sykie;" my grandad showed me many pictures that he had taken of his time onboard of some of the ports and during the battles at night; i am so proud of my lovely grandad and all his comrades, he sadly passed away in october 2005 and although as he got older he found it very upsetting to talk of some of the things he saw, i have found this site extremely comforting in helping me remember some of the stories he once told me; he was a radar operator from marconi and often joked the captain would never believe what he saw on the screen until they could see it themselves !

Do you remember Christmas in Algiers in 1943; Danny Lakeman trying to bring a little donkey "on board" across his shoulders; As he couldn't speak english (the donkey) the skipper disallowed it;
